Overstock Cellars is part of Rio Joe’s Brands, Inc., a California-based wine company that has been sourcing, importing, and selling wines since 2005.
Over the past two decades, we’ve built deep relationships across the global wine market - working directly with producers, importers, and distributors. This experience gives us access to opportunities most retailers never see.
Overstock Cellars was built on a simple belief: great wine doesn’t need to be overpriced to be exceptional.
In today’s wine market, price and quality are not always aligned. Reputation, timing, excess inventory, and distribution shifts often influence pricing just as much - if not more - than what’s actually in the bottle.
We focus on those moments.
What We Do
We source overstock and closeout wines from around the world—bottles that become available due to:
- Excess inventory
- Vintage transitions
- Label or packaging changes
- Market shifts and distributor realignment
These are not compromised wines. They are simply opportunities. Our role is to identify them, secure them, and offer them at prices that are meaningfully lower than what you’ll typically find elsewhere—without compromising quality, provenance, or storage.
