Few vineyards have shaped the reputation of American Merlot quite like Three Palms.

Since 1978, Duckhorn Vineyards has produced its celebrated Three Palms Vineyard Merlot from this remarkable site near Calistoga. Its rocky, well-drained soils produce small, concentrated berries, giving the wines their characteristic structure, depth, and ability to age.

The vineyard's reputation reached a milestone when the 2014 Duckhorn Three Palms Merlot was named Wine Spectator's 2017 Wine of the Year.

Each growing season tells a different story. Our selection brings together vintages from both sides of that transition, including wines from 2011 and 2012 alongside more recent estate-era releases.
