The Silver Oak 2018 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant, beautifully balanced Napa Valley–style Cabernet from one of California's most iconic wineries. Crafted from select vineyards in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, this exceptional wine showcases Silver Oak's signature richness, silky texture and distinctive American oak aging.
The outstanding 2018 vintage displays a brilliant ruby color with inviting aromas of cassis, ripe blackcurrant, pomegranate, caramel and juniper. The palate is fresh and vibrant, offering juicy dark fruit, subtle baking spice and beautifully integrated oak. Its smooth, silky mouthfeel, refined tannins and lingering finish make this a sophisticated and approachable Cabernet Sauvignon with excellent aging potential.
Composed of 94.8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4.2% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc, the wine was blended before barrel aging and matured for 18 months exclusively in American oak barrels.
