The 2015 Conti Costanti Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG is an exceptional, limited-production expression of 100% Sangiovese from one of Montalcino's historic estates. Rather than a separate vineyard selection, Costanti's Riserva is selected from barrels demonstrating the structure, tannins and acidity required for extended aging.
Powerful yet elegant, the 2015 reveals layers of black cherry, blackberry, strawberry and plum accented by rose, wild mint, tobacco, leather, star anise, cinnamon and earthy spice. The palate is concentrated and structured, with refined tannins, savory complexity and a long, persistent finish.
Awarded 98 points by Wine Enthusiast and 95 points each from Wine Spectator, Decanter and Vinous, this highly collectible Riserva comes from the outstanding 2015 Brunello vintage. Production was limited to approximately 9,000 bottles, making it an especially compelling cellar selection.
