The 2017 Domaine Nicolas Rossignol Pommard Les Noizons is an expressive Pinot Noir from one of Pommard’s highly regarded lieux-dits in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Situated on a gentle, directly south-facing slope above Argillières and Épenots, Les Noizons combines parcels of vines ranging from approximately 15 to 75 years old and produces a wine with impressive richness, structure and aging potential.
The 2017 offers vibrant layers of red cherry, strawberry, blueberry and ripe red berries, complemented by floral, earthy and mineral nuances. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, the palate combines fresh acidity with ripe, rounded tannins and excellent tension, leading to a long and refined finish.
