The 2019 Domaine Nicolas Rossignol Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Fourneaux is a powerful and refined 100% Pinot Noir from a Premier Cru vineyard in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Planted on chalky-clay soils with southwest exposure, Les Fourneaux produces a richer, more structured expression of Savigny-lès-Beaune while retaining beautiful freshness and finesse.
Aromas and flavors of plum, wild berries, black cherry, cassis and sour cherry mingle with notes of earth, woodsmoke, flowers and spice. Medium to full-bodied, the palate combines impressive concentration with firm yet silky tannins, vibrant freshness and a long, savory, mineral-driven finish.
