The 2012 Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG is an exceptional 100% Sangiovese from one of Montalcino's historic estates. Produced only in outstanding vintages and selected primarily from Fuligni's older vineyards, this Riserva combines the richness of the warm 2012 vintage with impressive freshness, elegance and long-term aging potential.
Complex aromas of red cherry, raspberry, plum and wild berries mingle with violet, licorice, herbs, cinnamon, spice and mineral notes. The palate is rich and concentrated yet beautifully focused, with polished tannins, vibrant acidity and layers of red fruit carrying through the long, precise finish.
Awarded 98 points by both James Suckling and Wine Spectator, with Wine Spectator designating it a Collectible, the 2012 Fuligni Riserva is a highly acclaimed and cellar-worthy Brunello offering an impressive combination of power, finesse and classic Montalcino character.
